I am a strong believer of the growth mindset approach. This approach's idea is that your basic qualities and skills are things you can cultivate through your efforts. Enethough people may differ in every which way; everyone can change and grow through hard work, application, and experience. I utilize the growth mindset approach in my teaching and mentoring. Additionally, I use an active learning approach aimed at engaging students during lectures.
